A credit ledger you can actually read

Usage-based pricing only feels fair if you can actually see the usage. So SeoPiece keeps every credit movement — plan renewals, article generation, refunds for failed jobs, transfers between projects — in a single append-only ledger, and shows it to you in your account's Billing page.

How it works

Every plan includes a set number of credits per month. Generating an article spends exactly one. If a generation job fails partway through, the credit is automatically refunded — you're never charged for a bad run. If you run more than one site, credits pool by default so no project runs dry while another sits idle, but you can ring-fence a fixed amount per project if you'd rather keep them separate.

Why we bother

It would be simpler to just show a single number: "credits remaining." We show the full history instead, because "why did my balance drop" shouldn't require a support ticket. If a credit moved, there's a row for it, with a timestamp and a reason, permanently.

It's a small thing. But it's the kind of small thing that either exists or doesn't — there's no partial-transparency version of an audit trail.
